This two-bedroom chalet is built in a stonewalled kraal that was used to protect cattle from leopards that stalked the troops of baboons that roam the area. It offers spectacular views of the Outeniqua Mountains, Attaquas Kloof, valleys and the Komashoek Conservation area.

If you love nature and enjoy getting away from it all, then our guest farm in the beautiful and tranquil hills and foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains in the southern Cape is the ideal place to stay

Proteas Your hosts, Joy and Paul Crane, established the Guest Farm in 1999 so that they could share the beauty and history of the area with visitors. They are closely following the conservation and ecotourism development plans drawn up by a conservation consultant.
