hi all of you Ruiterbosers and Leeukloofers........ I have been tasked with writing an article about our wonderful neck of the woods, however as most of you know i am as yet not a permanent resident and hence somewhat at a distinct disadvantage ....since i probably know the least of the comings and going and who is who. The easy part is the guest houses, and accomodation, and known landmarks, the hard part is the unknown and different or unusual - the interesting people that you only find out about after living here for years, the colour and the life !!
So if you feel like sharing a special story of your life, or sharing a particular craft that you do, or know of something heart-warming and special - please would you drop me a mail, a phone call, it would be greatly appreciated.
As you might have seen we've started a once a month Farmers Market up @ the Ruiterbos Farm Store - we would really like this to grow and grow and grow - so that people make it a once a month excursion - if you have not yet got involved and you have anything from craft to Koeksisters to sell - please please join us !!! First Saturday of each month.
Tell us more about yourselves : i'll start - did you know Claude is a water diviner ? if you are looking for water on your land - he is your man. Did you know Mark is a healer - when you next have a unexplained pain or ailment - ask him to work some of that mighty magic that he has in his hands ..... Did you know Suzelle is a budding young and very good artiste........ and did you know that Lee will soon be serving up some super delicious take-away foods @ the Ruiterbos farm store .........

so come on ........let's get to know each other a little more and let's write a fascinating article that makes interesting people want to come and holiday here, pass thru, stop and chat - visit our market and enjoy what we already have !!!
